Domestic career
Shivam is a powerful young lad, he packs a punch and is more than capable of hitting the ball a country mile. Dube hogged the limelight when he peeled off five sixes in five balls off left-arm spinner Swapnil Singh on December 17 on the final day of their Ranji Trophy match against Baroda. It was the second time he had scored five sixes in an over, after doing it against Pravin Tambe in the T20 Mumbai League in March.
Dube made his list A debut for Mumbai in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in February 2017 against Rajasthan in Chennai. He made his Twenty20 debut in January 2016 for Mumbai during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Dube’s first-class debut came in December 2017 when he played for Mumbai in Ranji Trophy against Karnataka. In the first innings, he took his maiden five-wicket haul in first-class cricket.
IPL career
After being a part of RCB for the 2019 and 2020 IPL seasons, Dube moved to RR in 2021 and then to CSK in 2022. Ahead of the 2023 season, Dube was retained by CSK. Since then, Dube has been a match-winner for the Yellow Army playing several crucial knocks with the bat.
International career
After making an impact in the IPL, Dube made his India debut in 2019 in both ODIs and T20Is but inconsistent performances soon saw him out of the team. Dube will be making his return in the Indian squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup. So far, Dube has represented India in 22 matches including 21 T20I matches.
