Krunal Pandya is an Indian cricketer, born on 24th March 1991 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He is a left-handed batter and bowls slow left-arm orthodox. The all-rounder is famous for his destructive batting and wicket-taking ability in the shorter formats of the game. In the IPL, Krunal Pandya represents the Lucknow Super Giants.

Krunal Pandya Career
Domestic Career
Krunal Pandya made his first-class debut on October 6, 2016, playing for Baroda during the 2016–17 Ranji Trophy. Within the next few months, he became the leading run scorer and leading wicket-taker for Baroda in the 2016-17 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He scored 366 runs in 8 matches, playing at an average of 45.75 and strike rate of 81.33. This included three half-centuries, with his highest score being 78.
In bowling, he took 11 wickets in 8 matches with an economy rate of 4.82, an average of 25.09 and a strike rate of 31.10. His best bowling score during the eight matches was 4/20. In 2017 he featured in an India A tri-series victory over South Africa A and Afghanistan A. He was selected to play for the Warwickshire County Cricket Club in the 2022 Royal London One-Day Cup.
International career
In October 2018, Pandya was named to India’s Twenty20 International (T20I) squads for their tours against the West Indies and Australia. He made his T20I debut for India against the West Indies on 4 November 2018, taking one wicket and scoring an unbeaten 21 runs off 9 balls. Apart from playing 19 T20Is, Krunal Pandya has also represented India in 5 ODI games as well.
IPL career
Mumbai Indians picked Krunal Pandya for INR 2 crores in the IPL auctions at a time when he was a relative unknown. But he soon managed to carve his own identity. He finished his maiden season in 2016 with 237 runs from 9 innings at a strike rate of 191.12. After a successful stint with MI, Pandya was picked by LSG in 2022. However, he will be searching for a new team in IPL 2025 after LSG released him.
