While the Rajasthan Royals’ bowlers were brilliant at controlling Punjab batsmen, fielding lapses were a constant. In the 19th over of Punjab’s innings, there was confusion between RR captain Sanju Samson and Avesh Khan.
Although Avesh Khan ran towards the ball, Samson also charged in to take the catch. Both of them could not hold on to the catch to dismiss Ashutosh Sharma. Ashutosh Sharma also smashed the next ball beyond the ropes.
RR fielders don’t trust Sanju Samson?
Social media users had mixed reactions regarding the collision between the two. Some of them pointed to the fact that this has happened several times with the Rajasthan Royals. While others took to making memes about the collision, others said that the fielders do not trust Sanju Samson to take catches.
