In the evening clash, Royal Challengers Bangalore take on the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Southern derby. Mumbai Indians have had a forgettable campaign so far but there still remains a mathematical possibility of Rohit Sharma’s side making the playoffs. The five-time champions are the 1st team to lose 7 games in a row and a defeat will knock them out of contention for the IPL 2022 playoffs. They face newcomers Lucknow Super Giants, with KL Rahul having scored a century in the game against MI earlier this season. One can expect a run-fest, especially with Mumbai returning to their home ground Wankhede.
