Ambati Rayudu rolled back the years as he showcased some impeccable fitness to pull off potentially the catch of IPL 2022 on Tuesday. Stationed at short cover, Rayudu covered some ground before putting in a full-length dive to pluck one out of thin air to get rid of Akash Deep.
The RCB tail-ender caught a Jadeja ball high on his bat and the ball bounced right in between Rayudu and the bowler, with the former taking a superhuman catch. Watch the video here:

Rayudu’s catch comes a day after Rahul Tripathi pulled off a stunner to dismiss Shubman Gill in the game between the Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Gujarat Titans. Both Tripathi and Rayudu are likely to be among contenders for the catch of the season after their superhuman efforts in the space of two days.
