Chennai Super Kings Playing XI: The defending champions have bagged only a solitary win this season and will aim to keep their playoffs hopes alive at the expense of Rohit Sharma and Co.
CSK have shown glimpses of their form and will be buoyed by the return of form of Ruturaj Gaikwad who crunched a fine 73 against Gujarat Titans. Robin Uthappa and Shivam Dube have been amongst the bright spots in a rather dull campaign, while Moeen Ali and Ambati Rayudu continue to chip in with cameos.

Jadeja played a finisher’s knock last year game which should give him some confidence, with CSK struggling to finish the innings well with both bat and ball. Chennai were in control against Gujarat but let it slip in the death overs in both innings which culminated in their fifth loss of the season.

Mitchell Santner will pair with Theekshana and Jadeja in the spin attack.
