During the first set of the Brisbane International game against Jason Kubler, Rafael Nadal played out a stellar reverse smash as the crowd went into a frenzy. Serving first, Nadal was leading 3-0 Nadal showcased a remarkable backhand shot, compelling Kubler’s opponent to respond. With tge well-executed backhand cut, he managed to secure another break point to go 4-0. Nadal eventually won the set 6-1. Winning the second set by 6-2 nadal qualified for the quarterfinal, his 225th.
