While there have been previous occasions where Jadeja has failed to deliver as a batter, bowling has always been his forte. However, he has scalped only one wicket so far in this tournament. He went wicketless against KKR and LSG, while he did get one scalp in the last match against PBKS, the CSK skipper still conceded more than 8 runs per over.
